Where’s the catch: There isn’t one, the reason for giving away free listings is to promote the site and encourage rapid growth whilst saving the general public thousands of pounds. For wanamove to work we all need to have confidence in the site and use it.
At present the free listings will run for as long as possible, hopefully 12 months plus and will run as a fully active online listing, potential buyers and sellers can contact each other or arrange viewings with no hidden charges or fees. What are you waiting for; your house, vehicle or pet could be on line within the hour. If you think there must be a catch contact anyone who has already listed an ad with us and ask if they have been charged as the site is totally free and will stay that way until it becomes very well established. You can also use wanamove to advertise short-term holiday lets. Chalet, log cabins, static’s, cottages, cars, vans, caravans, pets etc. Once a house sale/purchase has been agreed, as with an estate agent both parties should then appoint solicitors etc. It is advisable to take up to 10 pictures in advance of going ahead with the listing. Make sure that each photo does not exceed the maximum limit of 1mb and is available in a folder on your pc. Have a well described text ready to complement your dwelling and list how many bedrooms, reception rooms, bathrooms etc, also features such as gas central heating, double glazing, conservatory, garage etc. You can revise or modify your listing at any time.
